  Our colonial farmhouse was built in the 1870s and owned by the same family up until a decade ago. There is a lot of history here!

  Jasmine, Camellia, and Zinnia are our 3 baby goats who love meeting our guests! Here on our mini-farm we have goats, chickens, giant tortoise, barn cats, farm dogs, and bee hives!

  Front porch is perfect for watching the cars go by, sit a spell, and snuggle a porch kitten!

  Chester is our friendly porch kitten, he will probably greet you here everyday!

Our URBAN 1870's Historic Farmhouse is in the Heart of Summerville & we would love for you to come & stay with us on the weekends! You can snuggle our cute farm animals or book a FARM EXPERIENCE! See our restoration of our fixer-upper up close all while being nearby to Charleston, Historic Gardens, and literally across the street from conveniences!

GUEST SPACE:
This guest space is one bedroom located on the second floor of our home, along with the guest bathroom located in the hallway just right outside the bedroom. You will be our only guests during your stay.

KING BEDROOM-Stay in the Original Master Bedroom of our home! It has as a VERY comfortable King Size bed with luxurious Cozy Earth bamboo sheets, make-up vanity, large closet, antique armoire, original antique decorative fireplace, ceiling fan, heated bed, and 3 bright windows. This room has a door to the hallway, and a door adjoining to the Queen Bedroom, which will be closed if you rent this one room.

GUEST BATHROOM-The newly restored guest bathroom is located in the hallway just outside the guest bedrooms. The guest bathroom has a gorgeous antique clawfoot tub/shower with lace curtains, antique vanity, fluffy white towels, shampoo/conditioner/and a sample of our homemade goat milk soap we make here on our mini-farm. This guest bathroom is just for you, not shared.

JUST FOR GUESTS:
-guest Keurig for coffee/tea
-personal newly renovated guest bathroom
-sound machine if city noise should bother you
-heated mattress (get cozy!)

SHARED SPACES:
-second floor has all the bedrooms in our home, including ours, so the hallway is shared with only us.

-visit and snuggle the farm animals!
-Kitchen is off limits to guests.

URBAN:
Although once upon a time this was a countryside farmhouse, the town of Summerville has grown and built up around our home, and we are only 1 of 2 remaining farms left inside the town limits. We are right in the middle of Summerville. So we are definitley an urban farm, meaning we live in a busy area, are close to everything you need literally across the street), and you will hear the occasional siren along with our rooster. That why we like to say we are city in the front, and country in the back! You can see a map of our area in one of our pictures.

THE MINI-FARM: Guests Must Love Animals! We have an urban mini-farm of 8 dwarf goats, a mini Scottish Highland heifer, 2 dozen-or-so chickens, 2 dogs, beehives, a giant tortoise, a fluffy giant bunny, and barn cats. We have been told we have some of the friendliest animals you can meet & snuggles and spend as much time as you want with! We also host farm experiences here on the weekends which guest are welcome to book and join! 

THE TOWN: Summerville is a historic family town that is nicknamed “Flowertown in the Pines” because something is always in bloom, and we take pride in preserving our trees, especially the pines. We are famous for our Flowertown Festival in April and home to many artists.
Our home is in the heart of Summerville, and is urban, so we are across the street from grocery shopping centers which are very convenient but also in a busy area. We have a Health & Wellness Spa one door down which we highly recommend. The best restaurant in Summerville and #33 in the US on Yelp, Myles & Jun Yakitori is basically a block away.
Then there is a Food Lion, Harris Teeter, Walgreens, Starbucks, Tuesday Morning, pizza, sushi, bistro, Chinese food, a gym, Applebee's, and many more restaurants within a block from our house. We do have sound machines in each room if any noise from being in the city or on a busy road should bother you.

We are about 15 minutes away from the beautiful gardens of Middleton Place & Magnolia Plantation. And about 25-30 minutes from downtown Charleston! Some of our favorite restaurants are 5 minutes away: Myles & Jim Yakitori, The Icehouse, Red Pepper, Shuckin’ Shack, 5 Loaves Cafe, and Accent on Wine!

There are some restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance, but for most of the sights in Summerville & Charleston you will need a car or rideshare!

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 5 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 5 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
