  Enjoy a bubble bath with a glass of wine here! We also give a sample size of our handmade goat milk soap for our guests to enjoy!

  2 of our farm dogs, Grizzly & Winter who live in the home.

  Our parlor has a pool table for guests to use. However my husband now works from home and this is also his office. So it will not be available when he is at work.

  Our formal dining room where we will serve you a Farm to Table breakfast daily! Fresh eggs from our chickens, sausage or bacon from a humane pasture raised local farm, honey from our own bee hives, and hot coffee always!

GUEST SPACE:
We have 2 guest bedrooms + a sunroom, that are all adjoining as our guest suite in our 1870’s farmhouse. The bedrooms are located on the second floor with the guest bathroom just outside of them in the hallway. You will be our only guests, we are not a bed & breakfast. 

KING BEDROOM-Stay in the Original Master Bedroom of our home! It has as a VERY comfortable King Size bed with luxurious Cozy Earth bamboo sheets, make-up vanity, large closet, antique armoire, original antique decorative fireplace, ceiling fan, heated bed, and 3 bright windows. This room has a door to the hallway, and a door adjoining to the Queen Bedroom.

QUEEN BEDROOM-Has a comfy Queen size bed with Cozy Earth bamboo sheets and a window over looking our mini farm animals. There is a vanity/desk, as well as a cedar chest with extra blankets and pillows. This room has its own door to the hallway as well, but also has the adjoining door back to King Bedroom, and also the glass door to the sunroom.

SUNROOM-The adjoining newly refinished sunroom has a cozy sectional with a TV hooked up with Roku (Hulu, Netflix, & Amazon, NO cable). The sunroom is bright and airy with 6 windows and it overlooks our mini-farm backyard. Guests may couch surf on the sectional in the sunroom if they wish, it has Heat/AC and a ceiling fan, but still may be warmer/colder depending on the time of year. We have extra pillows and blankets for the couch as well. There is also a guest mini fridge and microwave in the sunroom.

GUEST BATHROOM-The newly restored guest bathroom is located in the hallway just outside the guest bedrooms. The guest bathroom has a gorgeous antique clawfoot tub/shower with lace curtains, antique vanity, fluffy white towels, shampoo/conditioner/and a sample of our homemade goat milk soap we make here on our mini-farm. This guest bathroom is just for you, not shared.

URBAN:
Although once upon a time this was a countryside farmhouse, the town of Summerville has grown and built up around our home, and we are only 1 of 2 remaining farms left inside the town limits. We are right in the middle of Summerville. So we are definitley an urban farm, meaning we live in a busy area, are close to everything you need literally across the street), and you will hear the occasional siren along with our rooster. That why we like to say we are city in the front, and country in the back! You can see a map of our area in one of our pictures.

THE MINI-FARM:
Guests Must Love Animals! We have an urban mini-farm of 6 dwarf goats, a mini Scottish Highland bull, 2 dozen-or-so chickens, 3 dogs, beehives, a giant tortoise, a fluffy giant bunny, and barn cats. We have been told we have some of the friendliest animals you can meet & snuggle and spend as much time as you want with! We also host Goat Experiences here daily!So we will have visitors out back to visit the animals.
Our animals do like to greet the morning, especially our roosters, and hens singing their "egg song". We have sound machines in each room if this should bother you.
The 3 fluffy dogs do live in the home with us. They will bark occasionally when folks enter the house and meeting new people, they're just doing their job! We do not allow the dogs around kids. Our home also has breakables and isn’t too childproof with the steep stairs, so please consider all this before you book with us.

We live in the home and also work from home, so we are usually here if you need us!
We do wake up early to tend to the farm animals, so you may hear us moving about. Our bedroom is also on the second floor with the guest rooms, but we sleep with a sound machine and are very used to guests coming and going!

Summerville is a historic family town that is nicknamed “Flowertown in the Pines” because something is always in bloom, and we take pride in preserving our trees, especially the pines. We are famous for our Flowertown Festival in April and home to many artists.
Our home is in the heart of Summerville, and is urban, so we are across the street from grocery shopping centers which are very convenient but also in a busy area. We have a Health & Wellness Spa one door down which we highly recommend. The best restaurant in South Carolina and #33 in the US on Yelp, Myles & Jun Yakitori is basically a block away.
Then there is a Food Lion, Harris Teeter, Walgreens, Starbucks, Tuesday Morning, pizza, sushi, bistro, Chinese food, a gym, Applebee's, and many more restaurants within a block from our house. We do have sound machines in each room if any noise from being in the city or on a busy road should bother you.

We are about 15 minutes away from the beautiful gardens of Middleton Place & Magnolia Plantation. And about 25-30 minutes from downtown Charleston! Some of our favorite restaurants are 5 minutes away: Myles & Jim Yakitori, The Icehouse, Red Pepper, Shuckin’ Shack, 5 Loaves Cafe, and Accent on Wine!

You can park right in our driveway. Please let us know ahead of time of you will be bringing more than 1 vehicle.
Our driveway is a little hard to find at first, if you are facing the house it is to the right-hand side.
You can walk to the shopping centers but the road can be busy at times.

Our home was built in the 1870's so it has had some major renovations, and is a fixer-upper that still needs some! We try to take on most of these renovations ourselves so sometimes you may see one of our projects we are always working on, so sometimes there may be renovation little messes :)
We also clean with green cleaning products throughout our home.

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 5 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 5 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
